Early in the morning, when the extreme hot weather of Peshawar was on our nerves, we gathered at a checkpoint where the executive body of Peshawar Youth Organization came to pick us, Loaded our luggage`s in the buss and we were all set to go.

Everyone was excited about the extreme summer camp but the extremism took place when we took a break at Harnoi ( A place between Abbottabad and Nathiagali ). Every one jumped into the cold water to say good bye to the heat inside. It was an amazing but tiring start and once again we started travelling towards the end point and finally when we reached Nathiagali we were told to unload our luggage`s from the buss and start walking towards the camping area which was around 2 KM`s far away from the main road.

The weather in Nathiagali was cold and foggy and on reaching the destination we were given a warm welcome by the team of Peshawar Youth Organization that includes PYO Patron in Chief Nadeh Ali Mir, President PYO Sufyan Ahmed, Vice President PYO Zeeshan Qayyum, Spokesperson PYO Syed Aneel Shah, Ex-President PYO Shahab Durrani and other member of executive body that includes Mujahid, Zeenat Kakakhel, Umama, Khawar, Taimur, Sufi Asad, Moin, Syed Ansar and Aneeq.

President PYO addressed the participants on reaching the spot and divided them among different groups. All the participants were allotted a camp and were given a sleeping bag with instructions regarding the 3 days camping.

Second day was supposed to be a tough day as everyone was supposed to wake up at 7:30 in the morning for breakfast. After breakfast all the participants moved towards Muskhpuri track for hiking. On reaching Mukhspuri  they had different entertaining activities but one their way back hailstorm became a barrier for them to reach their camps.

The summer camp was more extreme when the participants helped each other in walking through the slippery track and reach their destinations all wet in the cold weather but at night the dizzy participants were once again given a life when " Khumariyaan – The Band " performed live at Nathiagali Club.The waves of Farhan Bogra`s Rabab, Amir Shafique`s Guitar and Shiraz Khan`s Jumbe made the atmosphere energetic and the crowd doubled the joy with zeal.

Few more hours were left when we were supposed to go back to Peshawar but it was not an end, Early in the morning PYO President Sufyan Ahmed came up with an idea and started an activity named "Hot Seat" in which one of the participants had to sit on hot seat and rest of the participants have to say something bad about that person and the activity moved on saying good bye to Nathiagali.

Speaking to Salman Khan, one of the participants, he told us that "Three adventurous days of my life in which I made new friends and got to know about how enthusiastic our youth is and what are their plans, I am really proud of PYO for providing such platform`s for the youth of Peshawar"

In an interview with Zeeshan Qayyum, Vice President PYO, he told us that "All the participants were energetic and cooperative. I believe such activities provide healthy and entertaining environment to the students and such events also promotes tourism which is one of the motives of PYO. PYO always worked to uplift the image of KPK around the country and will keep on working for it."

At last, everyone holding their luggage`s, walking towards the buss, sad faces … but PYO Summer Camp will never end. Every one decided to meet up next year in PYO Xtreme Summer Camp (Season 3).
