PESHAWAR AUG 7: Three militants got killed in a search operation held by the security forces in Cantt area of Peshawar here on Sunday night and Monday morning.
According to police, security forces held search operation for several hours at R.A Bazar and State Life Chowk in Peshawar Cantt.
According to sources, three militants escaped from the custody of security forces and the operation was conducted for their arrest. During the operation all three militants were killed, also two security men were martyred.
Two explosions were also heard late at night from the operation site. A sense of fear gripped the city, while all roads leading to Cantt remained closed.
