PESHAWAR JANUARY 31: A senior lawyer of Supreme Court, Mian Muhibullah Kakakhel, from Peshawar have been asked to head the proposed interim government of three years to be formed in Pakistan, here on Thursday night.

According to sources, the interim government of technocrats headed by constitutional law experts will be made in Pakistan for three years and a senior lawyer of Supreme Court, Mian Muhibullah Kakakhel, from Peshawar is asked to head the government.

Mr. Kakakhel is a close friend of General Ahsan ul Haq, who belongs to Mardan, and is also in close terms with the Chief Justice of Pakistan. He is also the author of various law books and was in close relation with General Pervez Musharaf.

He himself has a military background and served in Pakistan Air Force for few years. In 2007 he helped Musharaf to stop the KPK provincial assembly from dissolving by filing writ petition in Peshawar High Court.

Also, Gen. Kiyani`s extension is challenged in Islamabad High Court. Extension of Chief of Army Staff clearly narrate that Army is planning to tackle the Interim Government, sources included.
